Based in Almaty, Kazakhstan, the Koryo Saram Library is an online reading room and bookshop dedicated to preserving the creative and cultural heritage of the Koryo-saram community — books, newspapers, documents, photographs, and audio/video materials spanning generations.

The site is organized into deep, browsable sections: pre-revolutionary history, the Soviet period (including a dedicated section on the 1937 deportation), and the post-Soviet dispersal of Koryo-saram across Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, South Korea, and beyond. A culture section covers literature, theater, dance, film and photography, and cuisine, alongside profiles of notable Koryo-saram figures in science, business, the arts, and public life. The archive also preserves back issues of Lenin Kichi (later renamed Koryo Ilbo), the historic Korean-language newspaper of the Soviet Korean community.

The library was built to make this scattered heritage accessible in one place, in both Russian and Korean.
